Psalm 119:87(we should not forsake God’s precepts)

                ⁸⁷ They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken your precepts.

 Isa 1:4, 28(we should not spurn the Holy One of Israel and turn our backs on him)

                ⁴ Woe to the sinful nation, a people whose guilt is great, a brood of evildoers,
   children given to corruption! They have forsaken the LORD; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on him.

²⁸ But rebels and sinners will both be broken, and those who forsake the LORD will perish.

Isa 58:2(we should not forsake the commands of God)

                ² For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways,
as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God.
They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.

We have the following from the above verses

 1) We should not forsake God’s precepts in all facets of life

2) We should not spurn the Holy One of Israel and turn our backs on him

3) We will not forsake the commands of God by

       a) seeking God day after day

       b)the eagerness to know His ways

      c) doing what is right
