God has chosen Zion and will bless her with abundant provisions

Psalm 132 :15

13 For the Lord has chosen Zion,
    he has desired it for his dwelling, saying,

15 I will bless her with abundant provisions;
    her poor I will satisfy with food.

Psalm 134:3

May the Lord bless you from Zion,
    he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 147:13

12 Extol the Lord, Jerusalem;
    praise your God, Zion.

13 He strengthens the bars of your gates
    and blesses your people within you.

Pro 3:33

33 The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
    but he blesses the home of the righteous.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    God has chosen Zion and will bless her with abundant provisions

2)    The Maker of heaven and earth will bless you from Zion

3)    The Lord strengthens the bars of your gates
    and blesses your people within you.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord

Psalm 128:1 -6
Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
    who walk in obedience to him.

You will eat the fruit of your labor;
    blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Your wife will be like a fruitful vine
    within your house;

your children will be like olive shoots
    around your table.

Yes, this will be the blessing
    for the man who fears the Lord.

May the Lord bless you from Zion;
    may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
    all the days of your life.

May you live to see your children’s children—
    peace be on Israel.

26 Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
    From the house of the Lord we bless you.


We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Blessed are all who fear the Lord,

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make His face shine upon us

May God be gracious to us and bless us
    and make his face shine on us—[b]
so that your ways may be known on earth,
    your salvation among all nations.

The land yields its harvest;
    God, our God, blesses us.

May God bless us still,
    so that all the ends of the earth will fear him.

17 May his name endure forever;
    may it continue as long as the sun.

Then all nations will be blessed through him,[d]
    and they will call him blessed.

    of the one who delights in him;

24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
    for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

26 They are always generous and lend freely;
    their children will be a blessing.[b]

 We learn the following from the above verses

1)    The Lord gives strength to his people and the Lord blesses his people with peace.

2)    Those the Lord blesses will inherit the land

3)    The Lord makes firm the steps
    of the one who delights in him

4)    The one who delights in Him may stumble, he will not fall and the Lord upholds him with His right hand.

5)    The children of the one who delights in the Lord will be a blessing.

Job 1:10

“Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 

Job 42:12

12 The Lord blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the former part. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys.

12 Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
    you surround them with your favor as with a shield.
