2 Cor 12:9

⁹ But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 

2 Cor 9:8

⁸ And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Rom 5:17

¹⁷ For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

John 1:17

Tit 2:11

¹¹ For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 

 We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Grace of God that led us the whole year 2013

2)    God’s grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in our weakness.

3)    God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

4)    God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through Jesus Christ!

5)    Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The meek will inherit the earth

Romans 12:9-13(Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer)

            ⁹ Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. ¹⁰ Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. ¹¹ Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. ¹² Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. ¹³ Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

            ⁹ The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

We learn the following from the above verses

Tit 3:1, 8, 14

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, ² to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

⁸ This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

¹⁴ Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

¹² Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

Deut 7:6

⁶ For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Those who fear the Lord are His treasured Possession

2)    We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.

3)    God will make a distinction between His people and other people.

4)    The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

5)    For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
