2 Cor 12:9

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 

2 Cor 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Rom 5:17

17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!

John 1:17

 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Tit 2:11

11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 

 We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Grace of God that led us the whole year 2013

2)    God’s grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in our weakness.

3)    God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

4)    God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through Jesus Christ!


5)    Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 12:9-13(Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer)
            9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Heb 1:2

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Mt 3:17

16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Heb 3:6

But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.

Heb 5:8

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he sufferedand, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

28 For the law appoints as high priests men in all their weakness; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

We learn the following from the above verses

    and the government will be on his shoulders.

    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

We learn the following from the above verses

We are God’s own people eager to do what is good (Continued)

Tit 3:1, 8, 14

Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

14 Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

1 Pet 2:12, 15

12 Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people.

1 Pet 3:13

13 Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? 14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats[b]; do not be frightened.”[c] 

We learn the following from the above verses

In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose you may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about us.

    he causes their enemies to make peace with them.

We learn the following from the above verses

We are God’s treasured possession and His very own people (Continued)

Mal 3:17      
            16 Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard.  A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.

17 “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. 

1 Pet 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 

Ex 8:22

22 “‘But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the Lord, am in this land. 23 I will make a distinction[b] between my people and your people. This sign will occur tomorrow.’”

Deut 7:6

For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Those who fear the Lord are His treasured Possession

2)    We are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that we may declare the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.

3)    God will make a distinction between His people and other people.

4)    The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.


5)    For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.
