We are God’s
treasured possession
Tit 2:14
13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the
glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to
redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to
do what is good.
Ex 19:5
5 Now if you obey me fully and
keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be
my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is
mine
Deut 4:20
20 But as for you, the Lord took
you and brought you out of the iron-smelting furnace, out
of Egypt, to be the people of his inheritance, as
you now are.
Deut 14:2
You are the children of the Lord your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your
heads for the dead, 2 for you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession.
Psalm 135:4
4 For the Lord has
chosen Jacob to be his own,
Israel to be his treasured possession.
Israel to be his treasured possession.
We learn the following from the above verses
1)
We
are God’s treasured possession
2)
Now if you obey me fully and
