Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven

The Lord is faithful and He will protect us from evil one

Mt 6:13(Pray that God should deliver us from evil one)

                ¹³ And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one

Mt 5:37(we should not try to hide the truth)

                ³⁷ All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

                ³⁸ The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one

John 17:15(Jesus prays that God should protect His disciples from evil one)

Eph 6:16(we should take up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one)

we should pray that God’s will be done

⁴² He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”

Psalm 40:8(we desire to do His will for His law is within our heart)

 John 4:34(Jesus said that His food is to do the will of the Father who sent him)

We are God’s people

Psalm 100:3(why we are His people? It is He who made us)

   we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Isa 19:25(The Lord blesses us saying we are His people)

            ²⁵ The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.”

Isa 63:8(Surely we are His people, children who will be true to Him)

                ⁸ He said, “Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”;
   and so he became their Savior.

God answers us

Psalm 99:6 (Moses, Aaron and Samuel called on God’s name and God answered them)

                ⁶ Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel was among those who called on his name; they called on the LORD and he answered them.

God has done marvelous things

God arms us with strength and keeps our way secure

God rewards us

Mt 6:4(God rewards our giving for Him)

    ⁴ so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

¹⁸ so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

we should make every effort to live in peace with everyone

Mt 5:9(why? 1. We will be called children of God)

     ⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Jas 3:18(why? 2. To reap a harvest of righteousness)

          ¹⁸ Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Rom 14:19(Make every effort to do what leads to peace)

        ¹⁹ Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.

Ps 34:14(we should seek peace)

   ¹⁴ Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Rom 12:18(live at peace with everyone.)

  ¹⁸ If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

1 cor 7:15(God has called us to live in peace.)

         ¹⁵ But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.

Pray for those who persecute you

Let our light shine before men, that they may see our good deeds and praise our father in heaven

we inherit the promised land

The Lord will not reject His people

The Lord knows thoughts of all human
