Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bed ridden for eight years healed

Acts 9:34
            34 “Aeneas,” Peter said to him, “Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and roll up your mat.” Immediately Aeneas got up.

Acts 3:6, 16
            Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

Acts 4:10
 10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.

Acts 9:40
40 Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Aeneas, a paralytic who had been bed ridden for eight years was healed in the name of Jesus
2)     Lame sitting by the synagogue door was healed by the name of Jesus and the faith that comes through Him.
3)     Peter answering the elders and law makers and said that Lame was healed in the name of Jesus.
4)     Tabitha was raised from the dead in the name of Jesus, when Peter prayed and said Tabitha get up.

Acts 10:48
            Then Peter said, 47 “Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.

Acts 16: 15, 33
            15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

Acts 19:5
            Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 22:16
            16 And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.’

 We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Cornelius and his friends were baptized after receiving the Holy spirit
2)     Lydia and her house hold were baptized
3)     Disciples were baptized again in the name of Jesus
4)     Ananias telling Saul to get baptized in the name of Jesus

            18 Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized,

Acts 2:38
            38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 8:12, 16, 36
            12 But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” [37] [c] 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

Col 2:12
            12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Saul was baptized after his healing
2)     Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
3)     When people believed the Good news preached by Philip they were baptized
4)     When the eunuch believed in the good news and asking for baptism, Philip baptized him.
5)     We are buried with Christ through baptism, in which we were also raised with him through our faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

            17 Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord—Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here—has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Luke 4:40
            40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

Acts 8:18
            18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given at the laying on of the apostles’ hands, he offered them money

2 Tim 1:6
            For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Acts 6:6
            This proposal pleased the whole group. They chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit; also Philip, Procorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas from Antioch, a convert to Judaism. They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.

            14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Ananias prayed laying hands on Saul for his healing and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
2)     Jesus healed many people by laying hands on them
3)     Simon saw the Holy spirit was given when apostles laid their hands on people
4)     Gift of god was given when apostles laid their hands on people
5)     When new ministry leaders are appointed Apostles laid their hands on them and prayed
6)     The gift of God is stirred up by laying hands and praying

            15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.

Acts 13:2
            While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”

Rom 1:1
            Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God

Gal 1:15
            15 But when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being. 

1 Ti 1:15
            15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners —of whom I am the worst. 16 But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. 17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Lord said to Ananias that Saul will His chosen instrument to preach the gospel among gentiles and kings
2)     While they fasting and praying Holy spirit talked to them to set apart Saul and Barnabas to ministry that God intended for them.
3)     Paul was set apart for the Gospel of God
4)     Paul did not consult any human being and obeyed God’s word to preach the gospel to gentiles
5)     Lord saved Paul and set as an example for others that through His mercy and immense patience everybody receives eternal life.

Lord talked to Ananias in a vision to go to Saul and restore his sight

Acts 9:10
            10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”

Acts 10:3, 17, 19
            One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!”
Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate. 18 They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.
19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three[a] men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.”

Acts 12:9
            Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.

Acts 16:9, 10
            During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.


Acts 18:9
One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. 10 For I am with you, and no one is going to attack and harm you, because I have many people in this city.” 11 So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     God talks to Ananias in a vision to bring healing in the life of Saul
2)     Angel of Lord talks to Peter in a vision to go to Cornelius house to lead many people in to Christ
3)     Angel of the Lord brings peter out of prison in the night, while Peter was still thinking he was seeing a vision.
4)     Paul had a vision about going to Macedonia to preach the gospel
5)     Lord speaks to Paul in a  vision encouraging him to preach the gospel without fear

Acts 8:39(Philip was taken away by the Holy Spirit after his ministry to eunuch)
            39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.

1 Ki 18:12(Obediah telling to Elijah that Elijah might be taken away by the Spirit)
            12 I don’t know where the Spirit of the Lord may carry you when I leave you. If I go and tell Ahab and he doesn’t find you, he will kill me. Yet I your servant have worshiped the Lord since my youth.

2 Ki 2:16(Prophets requesting Elisha to look for Elijah after he was taken away to heaven)
            15 The company of the prophets from Jericho, who were watching, said, “The spirit of Elijah is resting on Elisha.” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him. 16 “Look,” they said, “we your servants have fifty able men. Let them go and look for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.”
“No,” Elisha replied, “do not send them.”


Eze 3:12, 14(Spirit of the Lord took away Ezekiel)

            14 The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord on me. 

Eze 43:5(When Spirit of the Lord took Ezekiel to the inner court, glory of the Lord filled the temple)
            Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

2 Cor 12:2(Paul explaining about a man in Christ caught up to third heaven)
            I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows.

1 The 4:17(We will meet the Lord in the air in His second coming)
            17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
