10:48
Then Peter said, 47 “Surely no one can stand in the way of
their being baptized with water. They have received the
Holy Spirit just as we have.” 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the
name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them
for a few days.
Acts
16: 15, 33
15 When she and the
members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a
believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded
us.
Acts
19:5
4 Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of
repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is,
in Jesus.” 5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the
name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts
22:16
16 And now what are
you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins
away, calling on his
name.’
We learn the following from the above verses
1) Cornelius
and his friends were baptized after receiving the Holy spirit
2) Lydia and
her house hold were baptized
3) Disciples were
baptized again in the name of Jesus
4) Ananias
telling Saul to get baptized in the name of Jesus
