Lord repays our enemies

2 Tim 4:14

¹⁴ Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done. 

Psalm 28:4

³ Do not drag me away with the wicked,
    with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
    but harbor malice in their hearts.

⁴ Repay them for their deeds
    and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
    and bring back on them what they deserve.

Psalm 109:20

¹⁸ He wore cursing as his garment;
    it entered into his body like water,
    into his bones like oil.

¹⁹ May it be like a cloak wrapped about him,
    like a belt tied forever around him.

²⁰ May this be the Lord’s payment to my accusers,
    to those who speak evil of me.

Rom 2:6

⁶ God “will repay each person according to what they have done.

Rom 12:19

¹⁹ Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”^[d] says the Lord. ²⁰ On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Lord repays our enemies

2)    Lord repay the wicked for their deeds
    and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
    and bring back on them what they deserve.

3)    Wearing curse as garment be the Lord’s payment to our accusers,
    to those who speak evil of us.

4)    God “will repay each person according to what they have done.

5)    Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”^[d] says the Lord.
