whoever humbles himself will be exalted

Mt 23:12

               ¹² For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.            

1sam 2:8

               ⁸ He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;

Psalm 18:27

              ³⁴ He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.         

Isa 57:15

              ¹⁵ For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy:
“I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.  

Eze 21:26

              ²⁶ this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Take off the turban, remove the crown. It will not be as it was: The lowly will be exalted and the exalted will be brought low.

           ⁵² He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble.     

Luke 14:11
