We have to
put our hope in the living God
1 Tim 4:10
10 That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope
in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and
especially of those who believe.
Mt 16:16
16 Simon
Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus
replied, “Blessed
are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and
blood, but
by my Father in heaven.
We learn the
following from the above verses
1) We labor and strive, because we have put
our hope in the living God, who is the savior of all people and especially of
those who believe
2) Father in heaven revealed to Simon
that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of the living God
