1 The 1:3

³ We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Gal 5:6

⁶ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

2 The 1:3

³ We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters,^[b] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 

1 Cor 13:13

¹³ And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Work produced by faith is remembered

2)    When faith grows more and more, God’s name is glorified

3)     The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

4)    And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
