God’s will for us in Christ Jesus is being joyful

1 The 5: 16

¹⁶ Rejoice always, ¹⁷ pray continually, ¹⁸ give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Php 4:4

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! ⁵ Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 

Lk 18:1

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Eph 5:20

¹⁸ Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, ¹⁹ speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, ²⁰ always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    God’s will for us in Christ Jesus is being joyful

4)    Being filled with the Spirit and always giving thanks to God the Father in everything
