God will punish those who do not know God

2 The 1:8

⁸ He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. ⁹ They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might ¹⁰ on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.

Psalm 79:6

⁶ Pour out your wrath on the nations
    that do not acknowledge you,
on the kingdoms
    that do not call on your name;
⁷ for they have devoured Jacob
    and devastated his homeland.

Isa 66:5

⁵ Hear the word of the Lord,
    you who tremble at his word:
“Your own people who hate you,
    and exclude you because of my name, have said,
‘Let the Lord be glorified,
    that we may see your joy!’
    Yet they will be put to shame.

⁶ Hear that uproar from the city,
    hear that noise from the temple!
It is the sound of the Lord
    repaying his enemies all they deserve.

Jer 10:25

²⁵ Pour out your wrath on the nations
    that do not acknowledge you,
    on the peoples who do not call on your name.
For they have devoured Jacob;
    they have devoured him completely
    and destroyed his homeland.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    God will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2)    God pour out His wrath on nations that do not acknowledge Him and do not call His name

3)    It is the sound of the Lord
    repaying his enemies all they deserve.

4)    God’s wrath will be on nations for they have devoured Jacob completely and destroyed his homeland.
