The faith and love that springs from hope is stored up for you in heaven

Col 1:5, 23

⁴ because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people—⁵ the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel ⁶ that has come to you.

²³ if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. 

1 The 5:8

⁸ But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Tit 1:2

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— ² in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     The faith and love that springs from hope is stored up for you in heaven

2)    if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel.

3)    Since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

We are to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness in the hope of eternal life
