Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
requests
Eph 6:18
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on
praying for all the Lord’s people.
Rom 8:26, 27
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do
not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit
intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of
God.
Luke 18:1
Then Jesus told his
disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
Mt 26:41
40 Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. “Couldn’t you men keep watch with me for one hour?” he asked Peter.
41 “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Php 1:4
4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good
work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Php 4:6
6 Do not
be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
We learn the following from the above verses
1) Pray in the Spirit
on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests
2) The Spirit of God helps us in our weakness. We do
not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit of God Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
3) The Spirit of God intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of
God.
4) Jesus told his disciples that they should always
