Having learned to be content in all circumstances

 Php 4:11

¹⁰ I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. ¹¹ I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.

1 Tim 6:6, 8

⁶ But godliness with contentment is great gain. ⁷ For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. ⁸ But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

Heb 13:5

⁵ Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”^[a]

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    We are to be content in all circumstances

2)    Godliness with contentment is great gain.

3)    For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.  But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

4)    Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said

          “Never will I leave you;
    never will I forsake you.”
