Stand firm with breast plate of righteousness in place

Eph 6:14

¹⁴ Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵ and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

Psalm 132:9

⁹ May your priests be clothed with your righteousness;
    may your faithful people sing for joy.’”

Isa 59:17

¹⁷ He put on righteousness as his breastplate,
    and the helmet of salvation on his head;
he put on the garments of vengeance
    and wrapped himself in zeal as in a cloak.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    We are to stand firm with

a)   the belt of truth buckled around our waist

b)  the breastplate of righteousness in place

c)   Our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

2)    May our priests be clothed with God’s righteousness

God put on righteousness as His breastplate,
    and the helmet of salvation on His head
