It is by faith we stand firm

2 Cor 1:24

²⁴ Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.

Rom 11:20

¹⁹ You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”²⁰ Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble.

1 Cor 15:1

Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  It is by faith we stand firm

2)  We are to remove our unbelief and not be arrogant and should stand by faith

3)  We are to take our stand on the gospel we received
