For each one the manifestation of the spirit is given for common good

1 Cor 12:7

⁷ Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

1 Cor 14:12

¹² So it is with you. Since you are eager for gifts of the Spirit, try to excel in those that build up the church.

Eph 4:12

¹¹ So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, ¹² to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  For each one the manifestation of the spirit is given for common good

2)  We should be eager for the gifts of the Spirit that build up church

3)  Christ equips His people for the works of service, so that body of Christ may be built up
