Those who belong to Christ have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires

Gal 5:24

²⁴ Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Rom 6:6

⁶ For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,^[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin— ⁷ because anyone who has died has been set free from sin.

Rom 7: 5, 18

⁵ For when we were in the realm of the flesh,^[a] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.

¹⁸ For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.^[c] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)   Those who belong to Christ have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires

2)  For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with,^[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin

3)  For we know that good itself does not dwell in our sinful nature
