Submit to one another out of reverence of Christ

Eph 5:21

²¹ Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Gal 5:13

¹³ You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh^[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 

¹⁴ For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

¹⁵ If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

1 Pet 5:5

⁵ In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,

“God opposes the proud
    but shows favor to the humble.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ

2)    We were called to be free, use your freedom to serve one another humbly in love

3)    For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.

4)    If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

5)    All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another

6)    God opposes the proud
    but shows favor to the humble
