Living a
life worthy of our calling
Eph 4:1
As a
prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient,
bearing with one another in love.
Col 1:10
We
continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the
Spirit gives,[e] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work,
growing in the knowledge of God
1 The 2:12
11 For you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals
with his own children, 12 encouraging, comforting and urging you to live
lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
Php 1:27
27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner
worthy of the gospel of Christ.
We learn the following
from the above verses
1)
Living
a life worthy of our calling by being completely humble and gentle; be patient,
bearing with one another in love.
2) We continually ask God to fill you with the
knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the
Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way
3)
Whatever
happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.
4) We are to be encouraging, comforting and urging others to live
lives worthy of God, who calls us into His kingdom and glory
