We have been
crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us
Gal 2:20
20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ
lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I
live by faith in the Son of God, who
loved me and gave himself for me.
Rom 8:10
10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject
to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[d] because of righteousness.
1 Pet 4:2
Therefore,
since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude,
because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. 2 As a result, they do not live the rest of their
earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
We learn
the following from the above verses
1)
We
have been crucified with Christ and we no longer live, but Christ lives in us
2)
if Christ is
in us, the Spirit gives life because
of righteousness
3)
We
are to arm ourselves with the attitude of Christ to not to live the rest of the
earthly lives for evil human desires, but for the will of God
