If we belong
to Christ then we are Abraham’s seed
Gal 3:29
29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Gal 3:16
16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his
seed. Scripture does not say “and to
seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,”[i] meaning one person, who is Christ.
Luke 3:8
8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do
not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that out of these
stones God can raise up children for Abraham.
We learn the following
from the above verses
1)
If
we belong to Christ then we are Abraham’s seed and are entitled for his
blessings
2)
The promises
were spoken to Abraham and to his seed Christ Jesus
3)
Producing
the fruit in keeping with repentance makes us receive blessings that were
promised
