For through the law we died to the law so that we might live for God

Gal 2:19

¹⁹ “For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.

Rom 6:10, 11, 14

⁸ Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 

⁹ For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. ¹⁰ The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

¹¹ In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

2 Cor 5:15

¹⁵ And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  For through the law we died to the law so that we might live for God

2)  Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

3)  We are to count ourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

4)  For sin shall no longer be our master, because we are not under the law, but under grace.

5)  Christ died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
