Christ redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to Gentiles through Christ Jesus  

Gal 3:14

¹⁴ He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Rom 4:16

¹⁶ Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

1 Pet 1:18

¹⁸ For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, ¹⁹ but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    We were  redeemed so that we might receive the blessings given to Abraham

2)    The promise comes to those who have the faith of Abraham

3)    We were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to us from ancestors
