We are God’s treasured possession

Mal 3:17

¹⁷ “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him.

Mt 5:9

⁹ Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they will be called children of God.

Eph 1:5

⁵ He^[b] predestined us for adoption to sonship^[c] through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— ⁶ to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

John 1:12

¹² Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    We are God’s treasured possession

2)    God has compassion on us, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him

3)     Blessed are the peacemakers,
    for they will be called children of God.

4)    Lord predestined us for adoption to sonship^[c] through Jesus Christ

To all those who received Jesus and to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God
