Paul and Barnabas came back to Antioch and Iconium to strengthened and encouraged them to remain true to their faith

Acts 14:22
            22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith.“We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

Acts 11:23(Barnabas)
            23 When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.


Acts 13:43
            43 When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.

John 16:33
            33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

1 The 3:3
             We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God’s service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them.

2 Tim 3:16
                16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Paul and Barnabas came back to Antioch and Iconium to strengthened and encouraged them to remain true to their faith
2)   Barnabas encouraged people of Antioch to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts
3)   Many of Jews and devout converts to Judaism urged Paul and barnabas to continue in the grace of God.
4)   Jesus said we will have trouble in the world, but He has overcome the world.
5)   Timothy was sent to encourage and strengthen people in their faith
6)   Scriptures are encouraging and strengthening as it is the God-breathed and useful.
