Cornelius prayer and gifts to the poor have become a memorial offering before the Lord

Cornelius prayer and gifts to the poor have become a memorial offering before the Lord

Acts 10:4
Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked.
The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.

Psalm 20:3
May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.

Mt 10:42
42 And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.”

Mt 26:13
12 When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. 13 Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     God remembered Offerings of the Cornelius and his gifts to the poor
2)     May God remember all our sacrifices and accept our burnt offerings.
3)     Whoever honors or helps His disciple will certainly receive their reward
4)     Woman honored Jesus by pouring the perfume on Jesus.
