God overthrew seven nations in Canaan and gave their land as inheritance to His people

Acts 13:19

¹⁹ and he overthrew seven nations in Canaan, giving their land to his people as their inheritance.

Psalm 78:55

⁵⁵ He drove out nations before them
    and allotted their lands to them as an inheritance; 
    he settled the tribes of Israel in their homes.

Deut 1:38

³⁸ But your assistant, Joshua son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage him, because he will lead Israel to inherit it.

Jos 13:7

 Be sure to allocate this land to Israel for an inheritance, as I have instructed you, ⁷ and divide it as an inheritance among the nine tribes and half of the tribe of Manasseh.”

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  God overthrew seven nations in Canaan and gave their land as inheritance to His people

2)  God settled the tribes of Israel in their homes

3)  God said Joshua will lead Israel to inherit the land

4)  The land of Canaan was divided to all tribes of Israel
