Paul and Barnabas brought good news to people and gave honor to God

Paul and Barnabas brought good news to people and gave honor to God

Acts 14:15
15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.

Acts 14: 7, 21
There was a plot afoot among both Gentiles and Jews, together with their leaders, to mistreat them and stone them. But they found out about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and to the surrounding country, where they continued to preach the gospel.

Acts 13:32
32 “We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors 33 he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm:
“‘You are my son;
    today I have become your father.’[b]

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Paul and Barnabas brought good news to people and gave honor to God
2)     Paul was continuously preaching the gospel even when mistreated and threatened
3)     Paul was preaching the Good news in the Antioch.
