Blessed is the man who fears the Lord

Psalm 128:1(Obeying God is a blessing)

                ¹ Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him.

Psalm 128:2(When we fear God, we will eat the fruit of our labor and prosper)

                ² You will eat the fruit of your labor;  blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Psalm 128:3(When we obey God, God will bless our family)

                ³ Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.

Psalm 128:4(When we obey God, we will be a blessing)

                ⁴ Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the LORD.

Psalm 128:5(When we obey God, God will sustain us)

                May the LORD bless you from Zion; may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
   all the days of your life.

Psalm 128:6(When we obey God our generations will be blessed)

                May you live to see your children’s children— peace be on Israel.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)      Obeying God is a blessing

2)      When we fear God, we will eat the fruit of our labor and prosper

3)      When we obey God, God will bless our family

4)      When we obey God, we will be a blessing

5)      When we obey God, God will sustain us

6)      When we obey God our generations will be blessed
