We need to
see to it that we are not turning away from the living God with sinful or unbelieving
heart
Heb 3:12
12 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you
has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
Heb 8:5
5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and
shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was
warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See
to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the
mountain.
Heb 12:16,
25
16 See that no one is sexually immoral, or is
godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the
oldest son. 17 Afterward,
as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. Even
though he sought the blessing with tears, he could
not change what he had done.
25 See to it that you do not refuse him
who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who
warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn
away from him who warns us from heaven?
1 Pet 3:17
17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, to
suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
2 John 1:8
8 Watch out that you do not lose what we[a] have
worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.
We learn the
following from the above verses
1) We need to see to it that we are not
turning away from the living God with sinful or unbelieving heart
2) Moses was warned to build the
tabernacle according to the model that was shown to him on the mountain
3) See that no one is sexually immoral, or is
godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the
oldest son.
4) We should listen to the word of God
and not to turn away from God
5) For it
is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than
for doing evil.
