If we will humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, and God will forgive our sin and will heal our land.

If we will humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, and God will forgive our sin and will heal our land.

2 Chr 7:14

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

2 Chr 6:39

38 And if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name; 39 then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.

2 Chr 30:19

But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May the Lord, who is good, pardon everyone 19 who sets their heart on seeking God—the Lord, the God of their ancestors—even if they are not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary.” 20 And the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

Neh 9:17

17 They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     If we will humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our wicked ways, then God will hear from heaven, and God will forgive our sin and will heal our land.

3)     May the Lord, who is good, pardon everyone 19 who sets their heart on seeking God—the Lord, the God of their ancestors—even if they are not clean according to the rules of the sanctuary.

4)     And the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.

5)     Our God is a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love.
