God protects His people and warns who go
against His people
Gen 31:24, 29
24 Then
God came to Laban the Aramean in a dream at night and said to him, “Be
careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.”
29 I
have the power to harm you; but last night the God of your father said
to me, ‘Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.’
Exo 4:21
21 The Lord said to Moses, “When you return to
Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders I
have given you the power to do. But I will harden his heart so that he will not let the people go.
Exo 10:10
10 Pharaoh
said, “The Lord be with you—if I let you go, along with
your women and children! Clearly you are bent on evil.[a] 11 No! Have only the men go
and worship the
Lord, since
that’s what you have been asking for.” Then Moses and Aaron were driven out of Pharaoh’s
presence.
