Lord forgave the iniquity of His people and covered all our sins

Psalm 85:2

¹ You, Lord, showed favor to your land;
    you restored the fortunes of Jacob.

² You forgave the iniquity of your people
    and covered all their sins.^[b]

Psalm 86:5

⁵ You, Lord, are forgiving and good,
    abounding in love to all who call to you.

⁶ Hear my prayer, Lord;
    listen to my cry for mercy.

⁷ When I am in distress, I call to you,
    because you answer me.

Psalm 99:8

Lord our God,
    you answered them;
you were to Israel a forgiving God,
    though you punished their misdeeds.

Psalm 103:3

² Praise the Lord, my soul,
    and forget not all his benefits—

³ who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,

⁴ who redeems your life from the pit
    and crowns you with love and compassion,

⁵ who satisfies your desires with good things
    so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Psalm 130:4

    Lord, who could stand?

⁴ But with you there is forgiveness,
    so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Lord forgave the iniquity of His people and covered all our sins

2)    You, Lord, are forgiving and good,

3)    God answers us when we call to him in distress

4)    God redeems our life from the pit
    and crowns us with love and compassion

5)    Lord satisfies our desires with good things
    so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

6)    With God there is forgiveness
