The Lord sustains the humble

Psalm 147:6

⁶ The Lord sustains the humble
    but casts the wicked to the ground.

Psalm 148:14

¹⁴ And he has raised up for his people a horn,^[b]
    the praise of all his faithful servants,
    of Israel, the people close to his heart.

Praise the Lord.

Dan 5:19

¹⁸ “Your Majesty, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor. ¹⁹ Because of the high position he gave him, all the nations and peoples of every language dreaded and feared him. Those the king wanted to put to death, he put to death; those he wanted to spare, he spared; those he wanted to promote, he promoted; and those he wanted to humble, he humbled. 

Lk 1:52

⁵² He has brought down rulers from their thrones
    but has lifted up the humble.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     The Lord sustains the humble

2)     Lord raised up a horn for His people

3)     The Most High God gives sovereignty and greatness and glory and splendor.
