God puts nations under us and exalts us above our foes

2 Sam 22:49

⁴⁸ He is the God who avenges me,
    who puts the nations under me,

⁴⁹     who sets me free from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes;
    from a violent man you rescued me.

1King 16:2

² “I lifted you up from the dust and appointed you ruler over my people Israel

Job 5:10

¹⁰ He provides rain for the earth;
    he sends water on the countryside.

¹¹ The lowly he sets on high,
    and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

Psalm 3:3

³ But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

⁴ I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    God puts nations under us and exalts us above our foes

2)    God lifted us up from the dust and appointed us rulers.

3)    God sets the lowly on high,
    and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

4)    But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
