Christ has become our high priest and Father gave Him the glory

Heb 5:5

⁵ In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him,

“You are my Son;
    today I have become your Father.

Exo 15:2

² “The Lord is my strength and my defense^[a];
    he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
    my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

1 king 14:7

⁷ Go, tell Jeroboam that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I raised you up from among the people and appointed you ruler over my people Israel. 

1 Sam 2:7, 8

⁷ The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
    he humbles and he exalts.

⁸ He raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
    and has them inherit a throne of honor.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Christ has become our high priest and Father gave Him the glory

2)    The Lord is my strength and my defense^[a];
    he has become my salvation.

3)    God raised Jeroboam and made him ruler over Israel

4)    The Lord sends wealth and He exalts

5)      The Lord raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
    and has them inherit a throne of honor.
