Warning the fellow brothers when they slip away from truth

Warning the fellow brothers when they slip away from truth

2 The 3:14, 15

14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed. 15 Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.

Gal 6:1

Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

1 The 5:14

14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    Warning the fellow brothers when they slip away from truth

2)    If someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

3)     Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
