God wants
everyone to be saved and come to knowledge of truth
1 Tim 2:4
3 This is good, and pleases God our
Savior, 4 who wants all people to be
saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.
John 3:17
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to
condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Rom 11:14
13 I am talking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to
the Gentiles, I take pride in my ministry 14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save
some of them.
2 Tim 2:25
24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be
kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.25 Opponents must be gently
instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a
knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the
trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
Tit 1:1
Paul, a servant of God and an
apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their
knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness— 2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised
before the beginning of time
We learn the
following from the above verses
1) God wants everyone to be saved and come to
