Prayers and
intercession for kings and those who are in authority
1 Tim 2:2
I urge, then, first of all, that petitions,
prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we
may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and
holiness.
Ezr 6:10
9 Whatever is needed—young bulls, rams, male lambs for burnt
offerings to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and olive oil, as
requested by the priests in Jerusalem—must be given them daily without fail, 10 so that they may offer sacrifices pleasing to the God of
heaven and pray for the well-being of the king and his sons.
Rom 13:1

there is no authority except that which God has established. The
authorities that exist have been established by God.
