5 This is what God the Lord says—
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out,
who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it,
who gives breath to its people,
and life to those who walk on it:
Acts
14:15
15 “Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only
human, like you. We are
bringing you good news, telling you to turn
from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.
Deut
10:14
14 To the Lord your
God belong the heavens, even the highest
heavens, the earth and
everything in it.
Isa
66:1, 2
This is
what the Lord says:
“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
2 Has not my hand made all these things,
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
2 Has not my hand made all these things,
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.
“These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.
