Lord set a guard over our mouth, watch over the door of our lips

Psalm 141:3(Lord set a guard over our mouth, watch over the door of our lips)
            3 Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Psalm 34:13(we should keep our tongue from evil and our lips from telling lies)
            13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

Psalm 39:1(we will put a muzzle on our mouth while in the presence of the wicked)
            1 I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked.”

Psalm 141:3(Lord set a guard over our mouth, watch over the door of our lips)
            3 Set a guard over my mouth, LORD; keep watch over the door of my lips.

Pro 13:3(Those who guard their lips preserve their lives)
            3 Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin.

Pro 21:23(Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity)
            23 Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.

Jas 1:26(Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless)
            26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless.

Jas 3:8(no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison)

We learn the following from the above verses

1)     Lord set a guard over our mouth, watch over the door of our lips
2)     we should keep our tongue from evil and our lips from telling lies
3)     we will put a muzzle on our mouth while in the presence of the wicked

5)     Those who guard their lips preserve their lives
