way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age,
so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
2 Tim 2:10
But God’s word is not

sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal
glory.
Tit 1:3
Paul, a servant of God and an

hope of eternal life, which
God, who does not lie, promised
before the beginning of time, 3 and which now at his
appointed season he has
brought to light through
the preaching entrusted to me by the
command of God our
Savior
Tit 3:6
He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he
poured out on us generously
through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that,
having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
We learn the following from the above
verses
1) Take

2) Command
rich to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share so
that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.
3) The hope of eternal life, which God, who does
not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and which now at his appointed
season he has brought to light through the preaching
