we will
receive our praise from God for our motives of the heart
1 Cor 4:5
5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until
the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will
expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise
from God.
Gal 1:10
10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human
beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please
people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
1 The 2:4
4 On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God
to be entrusted with the gospel. We are
not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
1 Pet 3:4
4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and
quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
We learn the following
from the above verses
