we make it
our goal to please God
2 Cor 5:9
7 For we live by faith, not by sight. 8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be
away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from
it.
Rom 14:18
17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking,
but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, 18 because anyone who serves Christ in this way is
pleasing to God and receives human approval.
Eph 5:10
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live
as children of light9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of
darkness, but rather expose them.
Col 1:10
We
continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the
Spirit gives,[e] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work,
growing in the knowledge of God
1 The 4:1

light9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.
