God pardons sin and forgives transgression and delight to show mercy

Micah 7:18

¹⁸ Who is a God like you,
    who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
    of the remnant of his inheritance?
You do not stay angry forever
    but delight to show mercy.

Mt 6:12, 14, 15

¹² And forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven our debtors.

¹³ And lead us not into temptation,^[a]
    but deliver us from the evil one.^[b]’

¹⁴ For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)    God pardons sin and forgives transgression and delight to show mercy

2)    Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

3)    For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
