God helps us
and He is able to help those who are being tempted
Heb 2:16 -
18
16 For surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s
descendants. 17 For this reason he had to be made like them,[k] fully
human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and
faithful high priest in service to God, and that
he might make atonement for the sins of the people.18 Because he himself suffered
when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
1 Sam 7:12
12 Then Samuel took a stone and
set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer,[b] saying,
“Thus far the Lord has
helped us.”
2 Chr 14:11
11 Then Asa called to the Lord his
God and said, “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the
mighty. Help us, Lord our
God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.”
Psalm 22:5
5 To you they cried out and were
saved;
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
