Forgive each other as God forgave us

Eph 4:32

³² Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Mt 6:14, 15

¹⁴ For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Col 3:12, 13

¹² Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. ¹³ Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

We learn the following from the above verses

1)  Forgive each other as God forgave us

2)  Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

3)  For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

4)  Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

5)  Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
